Mother of the Bride Handkerchief is made Nottingham lace and embroidered with Mother of the Bride and wedding date. Although we have called them Mother of the Bride hankie, you could choose to have one made for Mother of the Groom. They are an ideal personalised gift for your Mum on the morning of your wedding, to catch those happy tears. We also have the option of a white or Kraft brown gift box.

Many of today’s handkerchiefs are made using nylon lace, but here at Extra Special Touch, we love traditional cotton Nottingham lace. We make our own ladies handkerchiefs in our Nottingham studio, using locally made Nottingham lace. The Nottingham lace we use is made in the last factory of its kind in the UK, Cluny Lace and it’s only a few miles away from our sewing studio. We have recently invited into the factory to see how the lace is made.
Have the recipients name, initials or short message embroidered in a choice of colours and lettering styles.
If you want to keep the vintage wedding look, chose a pale colour for the embroidery.
