Our aptly named Happy Tears Wedding Handkerchief is another option for your luxury bridal details and it’s perfect for giving as a gift or gifts to your wedding party too. Made in a sumptuous cotton and edged in Nottingham lace it’s seen here in dusty blue making it a unique addition to the infamous rhyme if you are following tradition.
All of our lace hankies are made in our studio with Nottingham lace. Many of today’s lace handkerchiefs are made using nylon lace, but here at Extra Special Touch, we like the more traditional cotton lace hankies. The Nottingham lace we use on our linen hankies is made in the last remaining factory of its type in the UK, on vintage lace looms to original Victorian patterns, with Egyptian cotton. The factory is only a few miles away from our Nottingham studio so not only is it personal to you, it’s a little bit of history too!
