A personalised wedding handkerchief is an ideal gift for brides to be, and can also be their something blue.

Our luxury lace hankie, is made using the finest cotton and wide Nottingham Lace, and they are handmade in our Nottingham sewing studio and embroidered with your own personalised message.
The example on this page is using Calligraphy font and Dusty blue embroidery.

A personalised wedding handkerchief is an ideal gift for brides to be, and can also be a discreet something blue.

Many of today’s lace handkerchiefs are made using nylon lace, but here at Extra Special Touch, we like  the more traditional cotton lace hankies. The Nottingham lace we use is made in the last remaining factory of it’s type in the UK, on vintage lace looms to original Victorian patterns, with Egyptian cotton. The factory is only a few miles away from our Nottingham studio, and we have been lucky enough to have a tour of the Cluny Lace factory to see the lace being made.

We handmake all our cotton Lace hankies in our Nottingham studio, and everything is made individually to order. You can have the recipients name, initials or short message embroidered up to 100 characters and in a choice of colours and lettering styles.

If you want to keep the vintage wedding look, chose a pale colour for the embroidery.

Very beautiful and great embroidery

Beautiful handkerchief

Heidi was really helpful and quick in replying when I had questions about using two different coloured threads. The finished product is so beautiful and I can't wait to give it to my daughter on her wedding day. I didn't give five stars because I asked for a gift box and the box was really too small for the handkerchief and that meant that the lace around the edge is very crumbled. I have ironed it and found a different box to put it in - so all good.

great product and service but 'gift box' a joke

I like the quality of the handkerchief and embroidery. But I was extremely disappointed with the gift box - and its price. It seems to consist only of a glorified card envelope and in fact seemed too small for the handkerchief so the beautiful lace arrived scrunched at the edges. I will have to buy a more appropriate gift box of my own.

Absolutely beautiful

I had to order a lace handkerchief for my friend to give to her daughter on her wedding day. When I gave my friend it today, she started to cry. She is absolutely over the moon.
